Tg Malim - Gunung Liang East West, May 28-30

Gunung Liang East West is 2nd time ODA bring participants to visit it. I still remember the first time we visit was 4 years ago on 2006 August. For my memory that time, the trails are very far and tough. I nearly want to cry out for walking so long hours non- stop. Besides walking in long hours, there are many leeches and tics we can’t avoid. That time, when we come back everyone has given a suggestion by not visit Gunung Liang East West again. Who know, few years later we think back the scenery and beauty of this Mountain, we really miss it. Finally we had decided to bring everyone come to visit this Mountain again.

On April 17-18, ODA and two friends are come to do pre- making on Gunung Liang East West in order to make sure the trails. Thanks to Fu Yaw arrange all the things for ODA to do pre- making and Barbeque section at night for Siew Moy, Mr Tan, Mr Tan Children, Jimmy, Chian Nii, Kenn, Si Hua,and Chu Yao. The pre- making members are included Laosi, Fu yaw, Bee Suan, Puffy, Kwang Leong and Chee Loong.

Before come to visit Gunung Liang East West trip, I had confirmed with ODA that I can’t join them due to company trip are from May 24- 28. But after confirmed with company the time we back to KL, I know I can’t skip the trip to Liang East West with everyone. Chee loong are keep remind me : ”hey, you don’t forgot come back on time join us to Liang East West trip. If Air Asia delay, u buy MASairline come back”. That is really made me laugh. Here, Thanks to Chee Loong waiting me and Bee Suan at KL, and send us Sg Dara Campsite.




As for Chong Ee, Kwang Leong, Chee Loong, Harry, Johnny, Alistair, Hong Jie, Sim. You all already join ODA many trip. We have see u improve a lot too. At least, u all learns how to survive in the jungle. Help new members when in river crossing, cooking, shared the burden with members and even in hiking parts. I guess u all realized on the important of teamwork to make everything success. Hope u all will practice in real life on what have been learns in jungle.









Siew Moy, Mr Tan, Lip Onn, Kok On, Hai Feng, Woon Ting,Mok Ying, Pei Yu. This is the first time u all join ODA or maybe Mountain Climbing trip. I am sure in everyone of u mind might come out a lot of “why”??? Why so tough? Why I am here? What I am doing? No worry, this is the question will run out from u mind. But, I am sure u all enjoy in hiking and the funny members in trip. Thanks for trusted ODA and the friends who bring u come. Siew Moy - the one who always worry to delay us due to her physical. I can say, this is our responsibility to make sure everyone depart and come back safety from Mountain. As Mr Tan say, “in two days hiking Siew Moy already walked 10 years road”. This golden phrase come out from him has made me and Harry laugh all the way come down from 7-11 campsite. Salute on his patients, tolerate, love, respect to his wife.


ODA G7 members Vivian, Simpson and Wai Kit. Really long time didn’t hike with you all. Vivian last hike with ODA are 2009 Dec Gunung Ulu Sepat, Simpson last hike with ODA is 2009 Nov Gunung Korbu and Gayong. And Wai Kit last hike with ODA are 2009 Dec Gunung Ulu Sepat. Almost half years didn’t do hiking, however their mentality and physical still maintain. Every one of you still with happy character and always bring a lot of joy to all members. Thanks for bringing new friends come along. Let them know more on Mother Nature.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity thanks for ODA Advisor – Ms Lim and Trip Leader- Mr. See Sian Seong who really work hard and guidance in order to make whole trip successful. Not forgot Chian Nii, Jimmy, Bee Suan, Monica all the back to support ODA to make sure all the things has run smooth.
