2010 May 28th - 30th G. Liang East Liang West

2010 Gunung Liang East Liang West - a tough trip but yet a good trip!

This is my third time been here, the first and second time only reach to Sg Dara Campsite. Before trip, when me and Bee Suan went to Jugra, I heard Bee Suan said that this mountain is tough, like she said, it's all the way up up up. On Wednesday night, me and Lao Shi copy some good songs lyrics on the groundsheet to share with others during trip. First time doing this, very happy and enjoy writing it. After that, have a great time of listening these good songs, lyrics.

This trip a bit different as there is one married couple joining us. First time meet Ah Moy is at Titi Gong which she is very friendly, always smiles and I not understand at all when she speaks Hakka. Second time is during Liang East West pre-marking trip, we have BBQ here. She brings along her husband and kid. Some of us have a water war with her husband. So when i know that Ah Moy and Mr Tan is joining us to the trip, feel quite happy and admire of her brave. She never been any mountain before... During this trip, i see some different things which never see at other trip - Ah Moy holding on her husband all the way up from 7-11 campsite to peak and descends to car park. Mr Tan will still smiling or turn around check on her condition... Both of them are a good role model of husband & wife. When walking with them, i see how they help each other, how they keep on walking, not giving up, no negative thinking, joking, using tongkat one step by another step... Congratulates Ah Moy, YOU DID IT!! And great to know that after the trip, you are not afraid of mountain and still will join us.

Thanks to my group leader - Simpson helping to manage the whole group, contribute jokes and also being our group chef. Vivian and Wai Kit, G7 group, hehe... Thanks for help carrying the loads, also lend your hands to others whenever they need it. Jonny, enjoy the part walking with you and Tee. 'U Lat or Bo Lat', is you insist we are joking on other people, but actually I am only joking on you larh... Voon Teen, you look small, but actually you are not small, I mean backpack larh, thanks for helping cut vege, carrying group items... Tee, after the trip, I believed that you do learn something from the trip, hope you will still come and join us in the coming trip..

Lip Onn, Steve, Hai Feng, Pei Yun - nice to meet you at the trip. This is your first trip, but you had faces different situation such as raining, long hours of hike, night walks and etc. You all are great!

Harry, Siu Kat, Chong Ee, Hui Sim, Alistair - great that you all still joining us to trip and currently already able and will helps others, carry loads, share with others...
