Gunung Bujang Melaka

By Eng Wah...
It's 11pm at the night,as usual, i'm sitting in front of my computer like every other people in the city...Anyhow, what if you are in the tropical forest at this moment? No internet, no phone line, no advanced entertainment....It's the moment for you to listen to the nature symphony, exploring the messages beared with it...
I've been spending 3 days 2 nights in the tropical rain forest (it's really a RAIN forest). Well, it's not my first time to overnight in the jungle, but it definitely is a special experience to me.
Everything is back to the nature. No water filter, it's naturally filtered by the waterfall and stream flow; there wasn't any furnished kitchen cabinet for you to prepare your meal, all was done on the muddy map; it's your show time to exhibit your cooking creativity and talent! You don't have to regulate your aircond temperature to 16 degree celsius; the night wind was cold enough to make you shivering in your wet sleeping bag! What more- you might be caught in the sudden heavy rain at 5am in the morning while you are lying on the road, where you might be jumped out from your dream to find the "limited edition" shelter. Well, all this are the new salts that enhancing the taste of your young undying life!
Hiking up and down the mountain was challenging your cardio and musculo, yet, you need to carry another kgsssssss backpack on your broaden shoulders, along with the nature shower from the sky, yeah, "if you think you can, you can",and we did it! You were physically and mentally challenged, and it's the way for you to grow indeed, and the most important thing is that you are not alone, you have your ready-to-help buddies who went through all these with you. It was our linked memory, and we'll always be linked!
At this moment, at this city, there is'nt any sound of the crikets; in fact the crikets are just too small to echo their whispers in front of the giant engines of lorries, autocars or even motorbikes...Good night, mother nature.
