Gunung Batu Puteh Expedition, has created a lot of new experience for me. It is because need to search the new track, a lot of junctions, hike with the Tapah group who come across many years in climbing;'attacked' by the mosquito, tent is flooding during sleeping, and.............
This is Pre Tahan-Trainning Expedition,really not easy. The trail also not as easy as trip before. Need to climb , a lot of slope hill, need to 'fight' with mosquito and a lot of juctions. Very get easy to lost way. This expedition, i have taken the wrong trail on the 2nd day. We supposed to went down to cave when we reached the cave junction, but i chose the trail towards to peak(though obstacle there) . Climbed about 2o-30 minustes, only reliazed that we at the wrong trail. It really ate our energy to climb up that trail, again, feel regret to those follow my steps : fuyaw,sara, chiannii, beesuan,tata,miing rueng and boonping. Besides, also to other committees who wait and look for us: Andy, SianSeong,Siew Ting,Chee Shen,Yee jin and also the Tapah Group who waiting us at the cave junction. During the 3rd day at peak, Lan said that at that junction, got trail towards to Bahgading and batu puteh peak. But fortunately we chose the trail towards BP peak. chinese said that "bu xing zhi chong de da xing". However, i will be more caution next time. Besides, this expedition not easy when descending. My both heel ' shui pao' like a 20sen. So painful, especially the last track after the bamboo bridge crossing. But as fuyaw said, everybody leg's pain, knee pain. And pain reduced when try to move the concentration from pain to others.So finally, we at reached car park.Hurray! Mentality preparation, really important.
Through this trip, i more close to Sara, Jai Wong, Ka Chai, Tata, Chu Hang and Boon Ping. Sara is a friendly girl and going to further study soon, Jaiwong is my x-classsmate 's brother(the world is small:)), Ka Chai know well how to cook Zai Cai, as his mother tought him before, Tata is a nice guy, and always take care people,Chu Hang from penang , work as IT and same with Boon Ping,because of work, travel oversea more than local. Nice to have this expedition with all of you.
I would like to thank you Huay Woon, trip leader Batu Puteh. You have done your job well. Gambateh! Besides, thank you Miing Rueng to guild me in pointed my weakness so that i can prepare and improve better. Through this trip, i almost have a clear picture on my weakness. I might not improve during this trip, but i will improve it for the next expedition! I also appreciate Lao shi guildance and encouragement. It really give me energy.
Thanks to all ODAs, i learned a lot from everyone of you .Eventually, hope i have fate with Tahan too. :D
