Few days back from Batu Putih, skin infection is not fully recovered, muscle still not back to normal, still feel hungry most of the time. Looking at the calendar, we are few days away before Gunung Tahan. Received a reminder from Trip Leader- Huay Woon that we are almost approaching dateline on Batu Putih Blog. It's time to re-collect the falling pieces, get the blog done, and get ready for Tahan. 
Batu Putih, we've been through lots of situation, such as clearing up the blocked trail, long hours hiking, overshoot at Cave Junction, long hours feedback/self introduction session, long hours rain falls. long hours waiting patiently for everybody to reach each Check Point, long hours of body shaking due to cold temperature, overload backpack, sandflies and leeches attacked,From all the incidents mentioned above, we know that Batu Putih is not a "playing, fun" trip. It's a real mountain climbing trip. Prior to Batu Putih, ODA is having very busy schedule, trip follow by trip for every 2 weeks, I guess most of us 快要疯了!!!! Most of the time, our body not even fully recovered and we are on trip again. Nowadays when ODA meet each other, we will say one thing to each other "你瘦了"
When ODA appointed Huay Woon as trip leader of Batu Putih, I am very looking forward on her trip planning, cause this will be the 1st time she being as ODA trip leader. I want to see whether is this ODA crystal ready to turn to be ODA diamond? When i received her trip planning few days later, I know ODA will have another new significant history created by Huay Woon by the time she is ready to be as ODA President.I know Huay Woon is not too happy that we have change most of her trip meal plan and feels that she being as trip leader seems like just a title. But I hope she will understand that Batu Putih = Last Pre Tahan Training. The trip planning she has done, is close to 100% perfection - You should believe it. Thanks for the good trip planning, you really did GREAT!!!!Along the trip, thanks for carrying most of my tiny little toys and keep each of the items in good shape, without lossing it.... (opps, Pang - I didn't mean to talk about you again, but i guess i will keep talking about it for 17 years)..... 
~~Miing Rueng, Pand and Andy - Again we're at Batu Putih, same mountain, different group of people, different stories but same heart. I'm looking forward on 2009 ODA Tahan along with 3 of you. Remember prior the result been announced, we prepare that Tahan might be just 4 of us this year if non of the candidates are READY???? Andy always said, if there is no LFY, there will be no ODA, i would like to said, if there is no 3 of you, ODA won't be as today. Millions of Thanks to 3 of you. 
Batu Putih is a very meaningful mountain to me, as from this mountain, i have experienced what is called as hypothermia at my young age, i have experienced been carried down to foothills by people's shoulders and stracthes; i have experienced 27 hours non stop raining; i have experienced wearing hiking shoes for whole night and sleep inside sleeping bag beside the trail; From all the incidents happen, i am thankful that i get to know a group of great mountain climbers who have carried me and looking after me during the incidents. We have become good buddy in hiking life ever since then. Although there is time that we have disagreement about mountains climbing purpose, but we will always remain as good buddy. Thanks to Lan, Arif Zubir, Anthony, Hasnole, Azimat and Sham.....

Tahan Candidates (Sian Seong, Yee Jin, Pooi Kuan, Chian Nii, Bee Suan and Fu Yaw):- Result is been announced, i know each of your have strike for the best during the Pre Tahan Training. No regrets on what had happen, at least you have given your best shoot in trying and ready to accept the rejected result. The courage found in each of you, is good enough than those who don't have the guts to give it a try. Work it out on whatever is necessary for next Tahan, a mountain climber is someone who never afraid to keep on trying.
