Helloooooo ODA!

How's everybody doing? I guess all is soooo busy for coming tahan trip.
Sorry that i am abit late. I had just finished all my academic assignments and is waiting for the final result now, yooohoo, finally!!!!

Was thinking to "HACK" into ODA's blog and write an entry for all of you, but i guess my surprise is failed as i can't access to the blog, haha! So here i am, writing an email instead! I hope any of you jump into it before Tahan trip!!

Well.....here we go.....

Firstly, Congrates to those who has been selected to be the participants of this year tahan trip! Surely you did great jobs with excellent performance and there you are, soon-to-be on Tahan's top with ODA! i believe All the hardworks will be repaid when you are standing on the top!

Again, for ODA seniors, Siew Ting, Andy , Ming Rueng, and the one never can be missed out, ODA advisor, Lim Lao Shi, a truly salute to you all, for never ending efforts, supports, and tributes to ODA along the way. (Wow, i m talking like Lao shi ?!?!?! hahaha.....) Really respect to what you guys have done for all this while, even i am not involved anymore. Your spirits are really impressed me!!! Again, it is no need to mention what you guys have brought me from the past, just the best wishes and blesses for you all!!! And Congrates on all the achievements made!

For the lovely "juniors", what a shame, i have never been to Tahan, so i can't say much about it. But i am sure the stories of ODA's tahan that i heard are never the less than you. From what i see, i hear, and i feel, Tahan is never just mountain climbing for ODA. I am sure you guys know it better than me.

After Tahan, the one who get the real meaning of it, walks with ODA ever since then. No matter how, no matter what, never ask for returns. You can see it from Lao Shi, Siew Ting, Andy and Ming Rueng, as well as Yan Mun and Kent who are far away. Tahan trip builds a strong bond and unerasable memories between them.

The one who missed it and went wrongly, they leave ODA forever. And some of them leave mountain climbing forever. What a Shame!!!!

That's one thing i never forget, that Lao shi told me everytime before a trip, or after a tough trip that almost made me quiting ODA last time, always remember to ask yourself, WHY YOU WANNA CLIMB?

if you see Tahan as your final destination in mountain climbing, even i, who never been to Tahan, has the right to laugh at you. Or i should blame ODA fails to bring you the real meaning of mountain climbing? I don't think so. Before you go to Tahan, try to review the days that u have gone through with ODA, all the bads and goods. What have u got after all? Only the desire for climbing Tahan and show to everybody that u are a REAL climber? OR something else that u will never get in your life if you never walk with ODA. It is tough, i know, i will never forget the feeling of mountain climbing, but what is the main reason that make you stay even it is hard-to-die everytime?

I am sure you know the answer by yourself. If you are not, better talk to your Seniors or Lao Shi, maybe Tahan is not really suitable for you? OMG.... i sound like Lao shi now!! But then, that was what she told me before tahan last time, although at last i still failed to make it.

Sorry for being sooo "long gas", yeah, never changed, the same old Pek Hiong, talks non-stop. Anyway, what i wanna say is more than this.

I guess you all are in pressure now, but never worried, just keep in mind, you are ODA, and ODA is with you. So, Be Ready!!!!!

All the BEST to you all!!! Have a safe and sound Journey! And do appreciate the chance that Lao Shi and ODA give you!!!

SEE YOU ALL AFTER TAHAN!!!! Miss you guys so much.

MY Bestest Wishes are with you all the time!

With Love,
Pek Hiong
