What I gotta say about the wonderful G.Chabang

Gunung Chabang was my second trip with ODA after my miserable and humiliating experience during the Gunung Datuk hike. During my Datuk trip, I just hope that I can finish the hike, all the way i was asking...

"where the hell is the end, where the hell is the checkpoint, where everyone stops?"
"how come i can hear the guys so clearly but all i could see are rocks, trees, and a trail that is so steep like an endless wall infront of my face??"

Perhaps that's what make my Datuk trip a less enjoyable one compare to this one. Yup, i enjoyed the Chabang trip, if you don't already notice it from my tone. Everything seems different this time. The sky bluer, the trees greener... ;p

There was not much to talk about for the ascending of the mountain, the trees, the trails, the ground, the soil, they all looked pretty much the same. We go up, we take 5, we take another 5, lunch break and we continue to go up. If any, it's us. We are the one who feel differently.

I couldn't agree more with Cikgu Mus, he said,
"It's not here (pointing to the body), it's here (pointing to his head)".
It's the mind power that takes us up there, nothing else.

Having said that, i must not forget to mention that descending the mountain while it's raining so heavily, and in the dark some more, was one heck of an experience. The little river that i can't even remember crossing became one that definitely made an impression by it's size. The trail we went up end up like a longkang and i only realized it's the same trail we used after like 15 minutes of walking and stepping my feet deep in the longkang. It's indeed a memorable and adventurous experience. I could still remember distinctively how we all crave for the lil piece of chocolate while taking a break in the rain. You can't ask for it and you can't plan, it just happened. That's what make this trip so unique and different from the other trips. So thanks to the rain, thanks to the bunch of people who came at 5am and beat us to the hike, and thanks to ODA for not changing our plan.

Lastly I must say I was so happy to be able to reach our endpoint, thanks to everyone especially cheeloong that's been watching my back the whole trip. I deeply appreciate all the effort done by ODA and ms laoshi to have the trip successfully carried out. Thanks to my group who is responsible for my breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Enjoyed every moment of the trip with you guys!!
