Gunung Tahan, i never think that i have chance to go. Thank you ODA to give this opportunity to me at last minutes .
Times goes so fast, we are one month and 14 days backed from Tahan. There were a lot of changes in mind from pre-tahan trainning, during Tahan trip and post Tahan trip. The changes is from positive to negative to neutral. After the trip, positive+negative= neutral...At least this is what i assumed.
The positive is i thought i was ready to go Tahan, it became neagtive during the few days before Tahan, my confidence suddenly went low, my direction lost, fear,worry,sad all came to my mind. I almost decided to give up, but the last minutes Ming Rueng's call woke up my mind ,'yes i really want to go, i want take the challege, no matter what would happen during and after the trip, i must give myself a chance'. Fortunately, ODA allow me to go at alst minutes. I appreciate indeed.
In this Tahan Expedition, the most beautiful, meaningful and memorable is not the peak view, but the spirit, experience and trail along the way to peak and during exit.
Spirit-The Team spirit, can make you more stronger, more determine and more happening.
Experience- Brain cannot stop working, because the planning and decision need to revise all the while based on the condition on the spot.
Trail- Laoshi always say that, our heart and mind must be as wide as gedung view. It reminded me that the view at Mt Kota Kinabalu. But that time i never think of this theory instead of just wanna reach the peak, see how wonderful of the view, and descend quickly. This time, i learn how and what to release, what i want and make a decision.When gone through the tough and long trail, is like our real life, the toughest we have been gone through, the more we gain in your life experience. So i am learning how to enjoy every difficulties and look out of the box.
Miss Lim- is a center people, her influence cannot be neglected. Without her, the trip might not as success as she done. I will always remember what she had told me and i regretted if i had disappointing you.
Pang- Good influence too. She is tough, strong, and caring. i really impressed her humor and communication skill.
Andy- He is very strong, with a very heavy backpack all the way. The hurt on his shoulder never defeat him from continuous carrying the heavy backpack.
Ming Rueng- He seem strict, but after talking with him, he is nice and friendly. He help me a lot especially pre-tahan and during tahan. Thank you.
FuYaw-Fuyaw is a very caring and sincere person. Good ODA to have you.
Sian Seong- A young guy with a mature thinking. Although we are not so close with each other, i appreciate what you have help me during ODA time.
YeeJin-Become more mature and has put a lot of effort because of Tahan trip. Gambateh!!
Huay Woon- Sweet girl and very strong too. i felt shame when knew that her anckle very pain but never complaint one word. Nevertheless, still keep going said that 'my bagpack have a lot pf space'.Somemore, her speed was not be slower down because of the pain.
Ms Lim asked' will your come again?' Everybody said that 'of course', except me..keep silent.KT-KT, really not a jokes. That's one of the reason i had made a decision after think about their IMMEDIATE answer....I impressed the ODA youngster spirit, keep it!
Again, Thank you ODA to give opportunity to join. I appreciate the period with ODA very much.
