First of all, sure have to thanks to ODA organize this gunung irau trip. This is my 3rd time visit to gunung irau, 3rd time same group with sian siong at irau, 3rd time allocate at group 2 for irau trip…. Trip to gunung irau is different to other trips, muddy trail, cold weather, lots and lots of precious moment… without ODA, we may not know each other. Nice to meet you all! Maybe many of you are the 1st timer to join hiking trip, and it is long and tough way up to peak with such cold freezing weather. But you all show never gives up spirit to achieve to peak! You all so PRO~~~! This time visit to gunung irau, is very salty trip. Almost every meal of my group contains salted fish. Fried rice with salted fish for 2nd day lunch, fried four leg bean with salted fish and tom yam soup with salted fish for 2nd day dinner. Luckily all food taste also not bad. Good try for new meal plan ^^ It is disappoint that a lot people come visit gunung irau and leave trash everywhere. To safe our environment, hope you won’t be one of them. See you all soon!

Gunung irau very very hygiene trip hahaha.......

Mt Irau is locally known as Gunung Irau. At 2110m, it is the 15th highest mountain in Malaysia. The peak has a border marker shared by 2 states - Pahang and Perak...........hello every buddy i K3Nn here 9 2 m33t u all lengzai and lenglui ..... this my 2nd time visit g.irau ...... this trip very funny very enjoy haha i enjoy the trip ....... (n.n) all my friend is i have talking wrong or anything sry ya .....cos 我就是这样的.....haha

Gunung Irau - March 19-21,2010

On March, ODA flag has raise up again to Gunung Irau, Cameron Highland!!! This is the first time we organized trip to Gunung Irau in the short time of period in ODA calender. The recent ODA visit to Gunung Irau was August,2009.

This is because we want to encourage members who join to Mount Kinabalu expedition on June,2010 with us have a special training regardless their mentality, physical, test mountain coolest,adjust themself in the jungle no matter in what situation, get to know everyone real characters, know everyone prior Mount Kinabalu expedition.

Thank you 19 people who join Gunung Irau expedition.I think we have a best of all combination.It is been long time we didnt laugh from start hiking untill end of the trip!!! This is good to all of us has created a best memory after come back from trip.We enjoyed, we help, we laugh, we build up friendship, we cares of mother nature,we realized, we learn, we communicate. From strangers become good friends to help each others!!! We should take this lesson and apply to our real life. Shared the good things with everyone and give positive energy to person you cares.

Agains, thanks to trip leader - Ang Bee Suan organized this wonderful expedition and shared with everyone mountain knowledge. This is really great trip! I am sure everyone have same feeling with me as well. Ofcourse not to forget to say thank you to ODA Advisor - Ms Lim who always guide us no matter in Mountain or life knowledge and dedicate her time to us. ODA committees - Sian Seong, Jimmy, Chian Nii who is help out for the trip before, during and after expedition!!!

Irau members - Monica Yeoh, Alice Leong, Swee Sing, Chu Yi, Grace,Cai Hong, Sim Mei,Chee Loong, Kenn, Jai Wong, Jack, Yu,and Hong Jie. ODA 2010 G. Irau trip

This is my second time to Gunung Irau... Always, there are some Happening things at Irau which make everybody talk and talk, laugh and laugh during and even after the trip. Last time Fu Yaw trip and this time Bee Suan trip, each time there are different people going, different matter happen, but it always been a memorable one.

Thanks to everyone for bringing us this sweet memory and very nice to meet all of you. Kwang Leong, Swee Sing, Alice, Grace, Sim Mei, Chai Hong and Siu Kat, very nice to meet you all at Gunung Irau. You all are very great, nice and funny people. Chee Loong, Kenn and Jai Wong, Thanks for always supporting us and lend your hands to those first timers and those need help. Jack and Chu Yee, after Taman Negara and Gunung Datuk trip, very great that both of you still continue joining us in this hiking activity, welcome to mountain. Monica, still remember that our first hiking trip is at gunung Datuk, that time you were the second to reach peak. This time you also being the first few to reach Camp Botak and peak also. Although most of you were first time meeting each others, but you all able to built up friendship very soon and helping each other.

To my group 3 member, thank you for being co-operate and by helping each other, we and other group member could go and come back safely from Gunung Irau. Chee Loong, thanks for helping carrying dome and 5 water bottles(of course with water inside) up to Camp Botak. And also providing so much of snacks. Other than that, you also not forgetting to lend your hands to others, help them and also guide them. Not forgeting also for your helps during cooking time.

Jack, thanks for helping to wash messtin, vegetable, cup and also cooking during trip. Although you were first time meeting Swee Sing, Grace and Chee Loong, but you all looks like already knows each other long time ago. You will help them carry items when you see their backpack is full with items.

Swee Sing, you are such a pretty sweet girls. Although your shoes been spoiled since during hiking up to Camp Botak, but you still continuing your journey without complaining anything. And with the spoiled shoes, you go up and come back from Gunung Irau safely. I heard that you are 'tofu' before trip, but after back from trip, you already can told others that 'I am not tofu anymore!'.

Grace, thanks for not giving up! Keep the spirit up. And it's nice to chat with you when we walking together. Your Tom Yam soup, fried eggs very nice and delicious, I like it! Thanks for teaching us the recipe...

Lao Shi, our lost group member... Hehe.. Thanks for bringing laugh, energy, support and guidance to us all the time. Although you and Pang were so tired after back from Langkawi, but you still driving all the way from Kota Kemuning to Cameron and come back.

Thanks to Bee Suan for your great job as trip leader and organise this trip. Sorry for the mistake that I done. Pang, Sian Seong and Jimmy, thanks for your support and help before, during and after trip.

Last but not least, with everyone of Gunung Irau trip member, i believe everyone enjoy the trip, enjoy the hiking moment, cooking moment, laughing moment, snacking moment and many many more... Thanks to everyone of you, and see you all at Bujang Melaka! =P

还记得前年被ODA邀请去2Day1nite Gunung Datuk , 我更本没胆量参与因需要在山上过夜叻.

这次也是经过Pang的用心, 我终于决定参与IRAU trip了(之后有点后悔).



开始当心准备工作, 幸运的G1 leader Jimmy出现了第一封短讯把一切???都解决了. 还有Assistance Leader- Pang 也帮我不少哦, 替我借了HFY的一些用具( 谢谢HFY)!

除此之外也请教过Chian NI &Ally, 反被组长怪没做出反应. ( 感激关心)



在这三天的互动, 感觉成长了不少叻. 学会了不少如煮的技巧, 在遇到困难时总会有解决的方法

Gunung Irau 2010 March 19th-21st

Hi, Gunung Irau members and committees,

Firstly I would like to thank ODA Committees and all the participant. We all had done a great job and we had complete Expedition Goals and Expedition Objective.

The most important thing we had CONQUER the Gunung Irau which 2110m high. This really a great great mountain. Now I miss the place. It bring alot of joy and fun to me. I think most of us also enjoy the moment. I will never forget the moment.

Ang Bee Suan(ABS), thanks giving me a chance to be a Group Leader. I really learn alot of thing from the trip such as communication with my group member, manage my group and etc.

Gunung Bujang Melaka 30th April - 2nd May 2010

1st Time Gunung Irau 爽!!!

Hi Alice here. This is my 1^st ODA trip at Gunung Irau.

These trip so funny and very great, I like it so much, before that I don’t want to go de, need reject siew ting invitation de, cos I heard my fren said:’ need to hike around 6000 fit, then very 辛苦,..but Siew Ting said just 2000 fit only, then somemore this trip is at Cameron, i like cameron so much, haha, cos will not hot mah. Then think think think… few day, aiyah… go join lah, cos nothing to do at home also, long time dint go out for activity.

I like Gunung irau although cold, but hiking there feel hot.., but sleep time ya,, very cold.. BEH TAHAN, but 爽呀. 很漂亮的树林，感觉在（阿凡达）的世界里, 没有那么夸张啦。一点点啦。不知道我自己在讲什么。厉害!!!!

I told you all one secret, I fist time fried chicken and cook Tom Yam at Gunung.

Fried Chicken I always cooked at home, but Tom Yam is fist time. But not bad good nia.., not bad not bad. I think lah, dono my group member how to think .hehe.

The bagpack so heavy ya.. actually no heavy de, is my mind already set heavy then become heavy lo, I though I cant take the heavy to hiking de, finally I can wor… sososo good, I success jor… and I long time dint join out door activities I thought I don’t have so much 气 & 没力for hiking , 想象不到我可以叻，不会晕倒或呕吐，因为我是kampung gal. wakaka. 弄到满身伤也不会说怎么痛，但是有少许啦。

First I need to thank ODA Committees and advisor, and trip leader ABS.

Siew Ting: Very Thank you invite me come to join this trip, and sorry is last time you ask me to join I dint join, but now finally I join le.. You always wont forget to ask me to join this join that, hahaha.. Very good cos we can meet .. Sorry, I always trouble you, cos 1^st times I dint know I need to bring wat go, although got email, I also need to ask you this and that or how…

Jimmy (Justin): thank you you call me and email to me everything. Help me and teach me how to pack my thing inside to bagpack.1^st time you call me, I thought this is who, your voice very nice (Realy ooo). And need to said sorry also cos I trouble you, I think you will think im a gal y lot question one? (你好烦哟) issit??? 问题少女

If yes.. sorry ya.. cos Im a gal need to know all the detail, you need to told, I wont go to find de lei… very lazy lei. And one thing I realy realy need to said sorry is, I BEAT & PINCH you realy sorry lah.. next time wont de.. trust me. Actually you are very nice guy, realy ooo.
